We are able to provide the services of our ‘in house’ legal advisor, or a recommended third party lawyer. If you choose either of these, or instead opt to find your own legal representation, we recommend the following steps are undertaken, at least:
Pre signing preliminary contract:
- Land ownership check.
- Right to build check.
- General background check on developer.
- Encumbrance check.
- Preliminary contract proof read and advice.
Completion work:
- Power of Attorney granted to buyers not able to sign in front of notary.
- Notary Deeds check and signature (plus representation for clients attending notary).
- Bulstat application and receipt of documents.
- Tax office application and receipt of documents.
- Cadastre/town planning registration and receipt of documents.
- Forwarding documents.
Lawyer escrow account for handling cash transactions. VAT registration. General Power of Attorney to represent you on behalf of any issues relevant to your property.
